Children's issues

When a relationship breaks down the parents first thoughts are usually with the children. They will have important questions to ask in relation to the children such as, where will they live?, who will the children have contact with? These issues may often have to be addressed very quickly. There is also the child's own views. Depending on the child's age, they may wish to appoint a solicitor.

Our service is sympathetic at all stages and our commitment to Mediation and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution minimises the scope of conflict with your ex-partner. We are also experienced litigators if court action is necessary. We provide a service to include the following:

  • Court Orders and Agreements regulating Parental Rights and Responsibilities
  • Adoption and Permanence Orders
  • Issues arising from Rights to Contact and Residence
  • Children's Hearings
  • Financial Support and disputes with the Child Maintenance Enforcement Commission

We aim to carry out our service with minimum disruption to the children of the relationship.
