Meet the team:
Nicholas Scullion LL.B.(Hons),Dip.L.P.,N.P.
After graduating from the Law School in Glasgow University, Nicholas trained for four years as a business development manager with Procter & Gamble, working in London, Leeds and Geneva.
After a year out, including voluntary work in the Malaysian jungle, he decided to come back to Scotland and train as a solicitor with Semple Fraser in Glasgow.
In 2005, he joined the Firm, becoming partner in 2007. Together with the leadership team, he has overseen the Firm's development into new offices and areas of business.
He mainly practices in the road traffic and business law departments, getting clients the results that they want.
In his spare time, Nicholas loves foreign travel, great food and fun nights out. Preferably in that order.
Martin Carey LL.B., Dip. L.P., N.P
Martin heads the award winning Conveyancing Department. He joined the business in 2001 and the Property Department has since gone from strength to strength in both the residential and commercial spheres.
Martin graduated from Glasgow University more years ago than he cares to remember and is now married, with three beautiful children. When away from the office, Martin enjoys spending time with the family and indulging in his great passions, cooking and football (sadly he is more restrained to watching than playing these days).
Gemma Brown has been with the Firm for 10 years, starting as a Junior Administrator before becoming a typist and then a Conveyancing Paralegal.
Since having her baby, Gemma has returned on a part time basis and is presently assisting Martin Carey, in the Conveyancing Department. She is approachable, confident and a valued member of staff - popular with our clients!
Mary Anne Swan
Paralegal of the Year 2010
Mary Anne offers an award winning level of service. She was nominated by her valued clients and colleagues and won the prestigious Paralegal of the Year 2010. The judging panel at the Scott & Co Law Awards of Scotland said - Mary Anne's entry stood out, based on the strength of her client testimonials.
Winning ‘Paralegal of the Year' and being individually recognised for a national award among her peers was a huge achievement for our firm. Over 21 firms entered for the award and Scullion Law are delighted Mary Anne has won.
A graduate from the University of Strathclyde, Mary Anne joined the firm as a qualified Conveyancing Paralegal in 2007. She enjoys being part of such a dynamic and successful law firm and will continue to progress with us for years to come.
In her spare time Mary Anne enjoys going to the cinema and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Alana, a graduate from Strathclyde University has returned to the legal profession three years after having her daughter and helping her husband set up his business. She is now assisting Martin Carey in our award winning conveyancing department. In her spare time, Alana enjoys spending time with her family, interior design, travelling and eating out.

Away from the office he likes playing football, eating, watching films, and trying to play guitar (to varying degrees of success depending on who you ask!)
