New/young drivers
Newly qualified driver in the United Kingdom are now subject to a two year probationary period following the introduction of The Road Traffic (New Drivers) Act 1995.
This Act provides that during the period of probation if a new driver accumulates six or more points then their driving licence shall be revoked meaning that the driver has only a provisional driving licence and is required to re-sit a driving test in order to gain a full driving licence.
The task of retaining your driving licence should not be entrusted to inferior legal representatives when only specialist Road Traffic solicitors will do!
Our team know the exact implications of these provisions and are happy to discuss any queries you may have if you find yourself in this situation. Our solicitors use their specialist knowledge to fully prepare your case and build a robust defence to ensure you don’t lose your driving licence when you are only just beginning to enjoy life on the road.
Even if you are guilty of an offence our specialist Road Traffic solicitors can apply their knowledge and skills to prevent penalty points being endorsed on your licence and thus removing the threat of disqualification.
So, if you’re a newly qualified driver don’t get an opinion, get the facts and a Road Traffic specialist… contact us immediately!
