Guardianship orders

When someone is unable to look after himself or instruct a power of attorney then the appropriate way to allow their affairs to be attended to would be for us to submit an application to the  Sheriff Court for a Guardianship Order. The person appointed as a legal guardian will effectively have the same powers as an attorney to allow them to attend to the day to day affairs of the incapax and make decisions regarding that person's health and welfare.
