Getting to know our team: Mohammed Desai joined Scullion LAW 2016

Introducing Mohammed Desai who is nearing the end of his second year traineeship at Scullion LAW. Here we find out a little more about him.

‘I was very happy when I was offered the Traineeship at Scullion LAW as I knew it was the place I wanted to work due to the firm’s community involvement and excellent training.

Currently, I work in the very busy but enjoyable conveyancing department. I have been working on my own case load as well as supporting other members of staff when needed.

The regular training and support provided by Scullion LAW has made me more confident in my approach to legal matters. Furthermore, working alongside senior members of staff has allowed me to broaden my experience and exposure to complex matters which arise.

One of my favourite things about working at Scullion LAW is that the firm allows you to develop and grow.

Scullion LAW can support you with any ideas that you may have. Of note is when I helped organise our firms participation in a charity football tournament. The firm were very encouraging, supported us throughout and even got us branded shirts to wear. In addition to this, I have been active in helping the firm roll our trustpilot platform to gain client feedback and from my individual efforts, we have so far received testimonials from 87 unique clients. This is excellent progress within a few short months for which received a lot of praise and won employee of the month.

Lastly, my faith is very important to me.

During my time at Scullion LAW, the firm has been very accommodating to my religious needs by providing a ‘Quite Area’ for me and also by adjusting my work hours during Ramadhan to allow me to fast. This demonstrates to me that Scullion LAW are truly a firm who are at the forefront of equal opportunities and I am very proud of working here‘.
