Scullion LAW has become one of the first organisations in Scotland to achieve the Flexible Workplace Accreditation. This is an important step for the firm and shows its strong focus on its people and workplace culture.
The accreditation was developed by Flexibility Works, with support from The Robertson Trust. It recognises organisations that are using flexible working in a clear and effective way. Only ten organisations received this recognition when it launched.
At Scullion LAW, flexible working is part of how the firm operates every day. It helps employees balance their work and personal lives. This creates a more supportive environment where people can do their best work.

This approach is an important part of the firm’s people strategy. It helps improve wellbeing, keeps employees engaged, and supports strong performance. It also helps the firm attract and keep talented people, while continuing to deliver a high level of service to clients.
Nicholas Scullion, Managing Director at Scullion LAW, said:
“This accreditation is a proud moment for Scullion LAW. We have always believed that when you trust your people and give them the flexibility to work in a way that suits them, they will thrive. That translates directly into better outcomes for our clients and a stronger, more resilient business.
To be recognised as one of the first organisations to achieve this accreditation reinforces that we are on the right path, and we remain committed to continually evolving how we support our people.”

Shanna McDiarmid, Head of Operations & Performance at Scullion LAW, added:
“Flexible working at Scullion LAW has been developed with real intention. It’s about consistency, clarity and ensuring that flexibility works for everyone across the business, regardless of role or team.
This accreditation reflects the work that has gone on behind the scenes to build a culture based on trust, accountability and performance. It also gives us a strong framework to continue improving and ensuring our people feel supported to do their best work.”
Lisa Gallagher, Co-founder of Flexibility Works, said:
“Flexible working isn’t just life-changing for individuals, it also brings real benefits for organisations, from engagement to productivity. Our goal is for this accreditation to become the leading benchmark that organisations aspire to. Thank you Scullion LAW, for leading the way.”

The accreditation is based on more than 15 years of experience. It also uses advice from experts. Organisations are assessed on areas such as culture, leadership, transparency and impact.
This recognition strengthens Scullion LAW’s position as an employer of choice. It shows the firm’s commitment to building a workplace where people can succeed at work while also enjoying a healthy life outside of it.
