We are excited to share the promotion of two exceptional team members, Charmaine Trainor and Ailidh Ballantyne, in recognition of their outstanding contributions and leadership within the team.
Charmaine has been promoted to Head of Sales, reflecting her drive to improve and innovate. Since joining us in 2012, Charmaine has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, starting from her role at reception and continuing to shape the firm’s internal culture and client care practices. Her efforts led to the firm winning its first legal award for excellence in client care in 2015.
Charmaine has been instrumental in developing the Client Care Team, which collaborates with legal teams to build trust, provide legal options, and care to clients. Sharing, “I’m thrilled to accept this promotion and I’m grateful to have had a space to grow over the past 12 years. I’m so lucky to work in a place that doesn’t feel like work with the best team who are always willing to go above and beyond.”
Our Managing Director Nicholas says, “Charmaine’s positive energy, hard work, and persistence have been necessary to continually deliver a client-focused service, whilst ensuring the happiness of our people is a top priority. Congratulations to Charmaine, I look forward to her continued impact in her new role.”
Following Charmaine’s well-deserved promotion, we are equally thrilled to announce Ailidh has been promoted to Head of Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Bereavement, a role that reflects her excellent performance and dedication. Under Ailidh’s leadership, the team was recognised as Finalists for Private Client Team of the Year at the Scottish Legal Awards 2024, highlighting their remarkable service to clients over the past year.
Since joining us in 2022 as Associate Director, Ailidh has focused on providing exceptional client care, offering empathy and support during challenging times. “I am incredibly honoured to receive this promotion and grateful to be given the opportunity to lead a dedicated team who are passionate about giving sound legal advice in a compassionate manner to families during their time of need,” says Ailidh.
Nicholas adds, “Ailidh is the best private client solicitor I’ve worked with. She’s approachable, caring, and puts clients at ease. Under her leadership, the department has seen a significant increase in positive client reviews. It’s wonderful to see the commitment to providing the highest standards of client care.”
