Supporting Our Armed Forces

2Lt. Stephanie Grieve, Senior Solicitor

The Scottish Ex-Forces in Business Awards marked a memorable evening for the Scullion LAW team. They gathered to celebrate the achievements of remarkable individuals, including our very own Stephanie Grieve, who stood out as a Finalist for Reservist of the Year. Although Stephanie narrowly missed the top spot, her outstanding skills and contributions earned her an honourable mention.

In November 2023, Stephanie helped forge the Military Law department within Scullion LAW. Since then we have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, as part of our commitment to treating those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces and their families fairly and without disadvantage.

We understand the challenges that personnel face when accessing legal services and tailor the delivery of our services around them and their family’s needs.

As a heartfelt gesture to show our deep appreciation for the dedication and sacrifices made for our freedoms, we offer a 10% discount on all legal fees, up to £500 for those in the Armed Forces Community. Simply inform our Client Care team when you instruct us, quoting: MILITARY10 and your service number and rank. Valid until Nov 2024.

Inclusivity Matters

Ramadan Mubarak

Scullion LAW is committed to recognizing and celebrating the diverse beliefs of its team members.

Director and Head of the Property Law department Gemma Miller shines a spotlight on celebrating Ramadan and supporting those who are working during this time.

Gemma is fostering an inclusive workplace by supporting staff members like Associate Director Farrah Mahmood. Acknowledging and accommodating different working hours during Ramadan demonstrates a commitment to diversity and understanding the needs of our employees.

“During Ramadan Farrah does not eat or drink during certain times throughout the day until she breaks her fast. I respect that this is challenging for her, she does tremendously in managing her energy levels and continues to work extremely effectively during this time.”

As Ramadan is a time for reflection, community, and renewal, we would like to extend warm wishes to Farrah and everyone observing this holy month.

Offering an inclusive workplace results in a happy and successful place to work. As demonstrated by Farrah’s consistent 5-star reviews.
