- Missives: These are formal letters exchanged between the buyer’s and seller’s solicitors, outlining the terms of the sale.
- Once both the buyer and seller are happy with the terms of the sale, the missives are concluded, and the sale becomes legally binding and neither party can back out of the sale at this point without the risk of legal action.
- Searches: Our team will conduct various searches as part of this process, they will look for planning restrictions, restrictive covenants, overage clauses and any environmental concerns.
- Title Deeds: Our solicitors will review the title deeds to ensure there are no legal obstacles to the sale.
- Settlement: On the completion date, our solicitors will transfer the remaining funds to the seller’s solicitor, and you’ll receive the keys to your new home.
