Meet the team:
Nicholas Scullion LL.B.(Hons),Dip.L.P.,N.P.
After graduating from the Law School in Glasgow University, Nicholas trained for four years as a business development manager with Procter & Gamble, working in London, Leeds and Geneva.
After a year out, including voluntary work in the Malaysian jungle, he decided to come back to Scotland and train as a solicitor with Semple Fraser in Glasgow.
In 2005, he joined the Firm, becoming partner in 2007. Together with the leadership team, he has overseen the Firm's development into new offices and areas of business.
He mainly practices in the road traffic and business law departments, getting clients the results that they want.
In his spare time, Nicholas loves foreign travel, great food and fun nights out. Preferably in that order.
Robert Sheridan LL.B.(Hons),Dip.L.P.,N.P.
Shortlisted 'Up & Coming Lawyer of the Year'
Robert joined the firm in 2007 after graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University and The Glasgow Graduate School of law respectively. Having trained as a solicitor with the firm and following many years of hard work and success Robert was appointed Director in 2014.
He is the head of our award winning criminal defence and road traffic defence team. Originally a criminal defence lawyer, he has adapted his skills to become one of the best specialist road traffic defence lawyers in the country. This has been recognised with him being shortlisted for the ‘Up and Coming Lawyer of the Year’ at the Law Awards of Scotland in 2010 and being invited to be a guest speaker for the University of Glasgow and Indiana University in the United States of America.

Jason Stark BA LLB Dip.LP
A graduate from both the University of Glasgow and University of Stirling, Jason joined the firm in February 2011. Following a very successful spell in our property and family law departments he has gone on to become an integral member of our criminal and road traffic defence teams.
Jason’s experience and excellent advocacy skills combined with his confident and exuberant personality has seen him achieve remarkable results and become very popular with our clients. He regularly handles a variety of summary and solemn crime in courts across the country and has also been involved in many high profile cases including the highly publicised Erskine Bridge Fatal Accident Inquiry.
In his spare time enjoys he enjoys traveling and sampling great restaurants at both home and abroad.
Paralegal in the Criminal Department
Laura-Jane started with the Scullion Law team seven years ago as an office assistant. She then progressed and worked her way up, given the opportunity of Court Secretary and PA to Managing Director Nicholas Scullion.
She has recently obtained a Criminal Paralegal Qualification and is looking forward to using her new Qualification within the Criminal Department.
Kris Buchanan LLB (Hons) Dip L P
Kris is a Law graduate from Strathclyde University and the Glasgow Graduate School of Law. Following his successful 2 year traineeship with the firm, we were delighted when he agreed to stay on as a newly qualified Solicitor.
Kris is experienced in all aspects of Criminal Law, Road Traffic Law, and Property Law. He is a motivated and enthusiastic individual and is looking forward to taking his career to the next level with the Firm.
Away from the office he likes playing football, golf, eating and watching films.
Court Secretary Criminal Department
Stacey started with Scullion Law in September 2012 as an admin assistant.
During her time she has worked her way up and was given opportunity of Compliance Clerk. Stacey has recently joined the Criminal Department as Court Secretary assisting Mr Sheridan and Mr Stark. Stacey enjoys working within the Criminal Department and hopes to further her knowledge in this area of the business.
In her spare time Stacey enjoys socialising with friends.
