In 2005, he joined the firm, becoming Partner in 2007. Together with the leadership team, he has overseen the firm's development into new offices and areas of business.
He mainly practises in the Road Traffic and Business Law Departments, getting clients the results they want.

Robert joined Scullion LAW in 2007 after graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University and The Glasgow Graduate School of Law. Having trained as a Solicitor with the firm and following many years of hard work, Robert was appointed Director in 2014.
He is the Head of our award winning Criminal Defence and Road Traffic Defence teams. In recognition of this he was shortlisted for the ‘Up and Coming Lawyer of the Year’ at the Law Awards of Scotland in 2010 and was invited to be a guest speaker for the University of Glasgow and Indiana University in the United States of America.
Robert uses his confident, powerful and professional approach to get clients the results they need and has the track record to prove it. Please read our client testimonials to find out more (link). When he is not working Robert enjoys going to concerts, football and travelling.
Robert is an asset to our team at Scullion LAW.
Paralegal in the Criminal Department
Laura-Jane started with the Scullion LAW team seven years ago as an Office Assistant. She then progressed and worked her way up, given the opportunity of Court Secretary and PA to Managing Director Nicholas Scullion.
She recently obtained a Criminal Paralegal Qualification and is looking forward to using her new Qualification within the Criminal Department.
Jason Stark BA LLB Dip.LP
A Graduate from both the University of Glasgow and University of Stirling, Jason joined Scullion LAW in February 2011. Following a very successful spell in our Property and Family Law Departments he has gone on to become an integral member of both our Criminal and Road Traffic Defence Teams.
Jason’s experience and excellent advocacy skills combined with his confident and exuberant personality has seen him achieve remarkable results and become very popular with our clients. He regularly handles a variety of summary and solemn crime in Courts across the country and has also been involved in many high profile cases including the highly publicised Erskine Bridge Fatal Accident Inquiry.
In his spare time enjoys he enjoys travelling and sampling great restaurants both at home and abroad.
Kris Buchanan LLB (Hons) Dip L P
Kris graduated from Strathclyde University in 2009 and joined the firm in September 2011 as a trainee. Kris gained a wide variety of experience during his traineeship, but it was Criminal Law that stole his affections and it was clear from an early stage that his excellent presentation skills combined his determination to win were best suited to the Criminal Courts. We were therefore delighted when he agreed to stay on as a qualified Solicitor within the criminal department when he qualified.
Kris has subsequently gone onto become experienced in all aspects of Criminal Law and Road Traffic matters, and he can regularly be seen at both the Sherriff and Justice of the Peace Courts throughout Lanarkshire and Glasgow defending our clients. It is his enthusiastic personality and willingness to go that extra mile which has seen him gain popularity with our clients, not to mention the great results he gets for them.
Away from the office he has a particular penchant for burgers, and will go to great lengths to find Glasgow’s newest and best burger place! He has also recently taken up playing golf, but admittedly very poorly.
