Nick’s Story

About me

I have worked in the area of property law since I qualified in 2000. I have acted for private individuals and various organisations across a wide range of property transactions

I graduated from the University of Glasgow.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing football, and listening to music.

About my work in the firm

I carry out a wide range of property transactions involving purchases, sales and title transfers. I deal with the examination of land registered title deeds, sasine title deeds and complex titles. I provide assistance, support and training to junior colleagues within our team. I collaborate with colleagues on a wide range of projects.

I really enjoy the variety of the work we undertake. No two property transactions are the same and each case is different with its own challenges and the aims and aspirations of each individual client.

We help people buy and sell the property at various stages during their lives. It is great to see clients return to the firm to instruct you once again having gained their trust and confidence during earlier transactions. Our team is often recommended by clients who have been impressed by our outstanding level of service.

I enjoy seeing colleagues develop their skills and experience and flourish. I love advising a client that their purchase has been completed and that they can collect their keys. I enjoy it when clients tell us how our work has made a real difference to them, especially when they leave a review.
